I have a 733 running it quiet happily, but I also took the time to turn off all desktop fancy stuff and animation, disable any services I don't need etc.,

450 will do it, just don't expect all the trimmings.

Depends what you want it for really. As Ian says it wont be very quick but I recently used a similar spec machine for a pub jukebox style system and works a treat after I took everything else off it.
