or so they think down at my shiney happy local vauxhall garage. they said its getting exsesivly hot and this happenes when its blocked.... some of u know that i have had this problem with loss of power and thanks to lee m who gave me a few bits to try helped me eliminate a few possibilitys [ie maf, o2 idle controll]

they want 380ish inc vat to fit a new one....i can get one for my local motor factors and get a mate to fit it [the part from ajays motor factors is 185ish] what u all rekon i should do????

is this part gonna be shockingly crap compaired to vauxhall?

is it worth paying vaux to do it...?

please help me lol!!!!

but it will fail the mot on emissions if i don't have a cat.....and where does the lambda sensor go???

that doesnt go in the cat anyway (well it doesnt on VW's)

lambda sensor is in the manifold

car will fail mot without cat if it was made after 1992, even if the emmisions are at an acceptable level.....

V 1999 1.2 16v x12xe engine. lambda sensor is in the cat at the top... cat is tucked between the rad and the block.

thinbk thats what im gonna do tbh mate i can't justify spendiung 380 when they not 100% sure themselfs y not do it on the cheap and hope it sorts it!!!!

ok ..... it wasnt the cat....vauxhall were wrong done the cat and no change
