My next purchse is a dual core amd 4400
then another gig of ram and it will be complete for a while!

Didn't say he owned it, just his family did... I went to Bolton School with Akash Raja, was in my year.

Had someone I know from another forum run 3dMark05, and with a similar system to mine (apart from he's running a 256MB 7800GTX and mine's a 256MB 6800GT), his score blitzed mine by at least 2,000! So, roll on a 512MB 7800GTX, or even two of them, and I might see 10,000 in 3dMark05!
Although my 6800GT will play Call of Duty 2, in 1280x1024 @ 85Hz, in directX9 mode, very smoothly......no juddering at all, which is nice! It's also an absolutely superb game!

how the fuck did you get 10k in 3dmark 05?
a friend of mine who has aA MD Athlon(tm) 64 3400. exactly the same card as you and a gig of ram hit a decent score of 5000
