took the car to Jamsport for a checkover and RR run

results are here:



just for the few that suffer from not being able to read, figures are

130bhp @6733rpm and
123lb/ft @4533rpm

thanks to the lads at Jamsport for fitting me in at short notice, and broster for scanning the pic and coming with me

yeah, i'm happy with it

was a bit scared at the first figure we got, dont know where it came from, but then the 3 runs after that were consistant figures between 128 and 130bhp

no mav, its the same spec as brosters 138bhp one, just without the headwork

and siberia, the ecu is chipped and the chip allows a remap, so the ecu is mapped for the exact spec of the engine (and super unleaded only )

so with headwork, cams and something else it should be nearly 150bhp if i have it mapped again

impressive stuff dude, not bad seems some munchkins did the engine lol!


seriously tho tis all good, goes well too!

the ecu has had a mapable eeprom chip put on it and mapped, similar to a uni chip, but where a uni chip fools the ecu into doing stuff the ecu just dos it in this case.

torque seems very impressive, 123lb/ft! most 1.6xe's on throttle bodies with higher spec dont see that much!

i had the same with the lexmaul on my engine, it was vvv cold so that would have helped a little now i have less torque but a much much flatter curve!


jamsport charge £40+vat as standard for a run....
