So do Mansfield town though lol, I'd personally go for chrome and red

i just flogged my white covers with blue sparks which looked good,
thought i'd change the scheme as a new engine will be going in, so i'mdoing a graphite type colour on the covers, and i'm trying to get the spark cover copper plated. got gold bolts to go on too, so should look pretty good.
new one will be this sort of colour.

Chrome rules. Only prob is it gets hotter and weighs more.
Get some piping made up, hoses etc..
Or mine.... But an XE obviously..

So what would YOU do?
I would leave it. its an engine you don't see it normally. where is the point in changing the colour. you could get some gay pink purple stuff or even gayer chrome. personally I think black is best and just keep the engine clean.

I'm undecided now!
Half of me wants a contrast to the car and brighten it up, the other half wants to leave it!
Decisions!

all covers same colour as rocker cover, with red writing to go with your red hoses.

I might leave it as is with red cover and yellow letters?
Fooooook knows!
It will be a big surprise when its done, and I bet half the people don't like it, as there is such varying opinion!

ill like it tim beacauce to me it dont matter what colour a rocker cover is, its whats underneath it that counts.
chrome is nice, but for me, mine aint no show car or show engine, so its not really up to scratch.
black would be my colour of choice for the removal of heat
