At rolling road day got 191bhp which is 9 down on standard.Graph all over the place...

Said change plugs and reduce spacing slightly and come back.

ot oil and filter done and plugs today so went back to see him, he took the car for a drive and said it deffo is still hesistant a bit..

He is going to speak to an expert on the volvo's but thinks it could be the coils going to the plugs that are split.

Expert is John Clelands son, you know the ex touring car driver

Phoning me on monday...

Your graph was all over the place but 9bhp down is not alot really! my 306 used to hesitate and it was coil packs breaking down on load

Doubt it. Need to start getting some insurance quotes as it's due Feb but not holding my breath. She's all fixed up now with the Reiger front still on and a prefacelift GSI bumper in the shed for spare. I also got a set of facelift headlights to go on but need the connectors before i can do that. Should keep me busy over the Xmas holidays. Got sprayed this afternoon and hopefully back tomorrow for some nice new piccies and a proper clean...

its done 73 k now mate, wont stand for much more of my driving (i demand 2.0 power from it haha) i know what you mean though, i doubt ill go for 2.0 conversion, prices are a rip off. might just buy a bigger and better car in 1-2 years.

Good choice

I had a 1.2 8v for 3 years - sometimes miss the corsa but most of the time I don't

Nice car mav - Bet the torque figure is nice - going for 300lb on my car after re-map hoepfully

yeah maybe, had a 1.2 8v so obviously this felt quick for a while, but want more now lol, even a 2.0 (non turbo) doesnt feel that quick lol... wont sell this yet as looking wise its had lots spent and is starting to look v.nice imo, and it would be a shame to sell, as i cnt afford to inusre anythign faster at the moment (just turned 20, 0 NCB, 1 claim (not at fault) 2 yrs driving)

mav its not hard to check if it is a problem with the ingnition system. they should be able to hook it up to the electrics and run on the RR to diagnose
