Some of the fast ones like Volvo T5s have upgraded brakes and suspension but that's about it.

all police cars are fettled with in terms of suspension, so they can safely mount kerbs at higher speeds, but they are no different performance wise to cars you drive away from the dealership forecourts

When i was getting my 2 litre conversion done at Courtnays, many moons ago, they had 2 Vectra's in there from the Ulster police force that were having low compression turbo kits fitted to them!

I know its Northern Ireland........but still.....

I once saw a Hyundai Accent Police car and it had a V8 intake on the roof to allow the car to go back in time and stop the crime before it even happened.
