it will be one fuel supplier... if you read it you will see they already have one supplier who will reduce prices by 5-10p per litre... all we need to do is get as many people as possible to use the thing!!
In theory the more people using it the cheaper fuel will get...

I only fill up at Shell petrol stations so no good if the one fuel supplier turns out to be someone else

Petrol stations make something silly like 1p per litre profit on fuel. My Dad bought a petrol station when he used to be a mechanic, in the end they stopped selling fuel, had a car sales business on the forecourt and kept there garage out the back of it as thats where the money was

The idea is good and the theory is there, but i just dont see it happening. Would this not start a price war, one that fuel companies cant afford to be in?

surely this concept would drive everyone to buy their fuel from supplier, eg Shell and cause all the others to go bankrupt and close down. Once that happens, Shell(per example) would be in such a strong market position and everyone having no choice but to buy from them, they'd jack their prices up through the roof and we'd all HAVE to pay for fuel @ £2 a litre as theres nowhere else to go for it?
