Where abouts on the block is the engine code stamped? Do I have to look from above or underneath? I did try to find the engine type by using my EPC but I knackered it so that din't work...

on my 20xe it is on the front of te block where it bolts to the gearbox

most vaux engines are either on a lip on the front of engine and down the side of g box where it fastens to engine
