will probably get told this is in the wrong place, but here goes.......
when i brought my car it had a CD player already fitted, its not the best thing in the world, but im not really into listening to music and all that in my car (the only time its really used is when someone else is in the car)
anyway, the thing is i seem to be unable to get any radio stations what so ever in my car
does anyone know why this is or how to solve it

Most likely a problem with your ariel. Maybe its not plugged in at the back of the headunit?

here is the back of my headunit -
i guess the black block will be the iso block , this is all good, no problem there.
then there is this -
(it has selotape on it for some reason, but doesnt look to be totally wrecked)
and this plugged into this black piece -
dont quite know what im doing, but there didnt look (to me) to be anything wrong with the back bit
but still no radio stations, any other ideas people (if you can understand what i have just typed )

the plug needs to go into the hole on the far left of the back on the head unit. looks like the previous owner has bought an adapter but broke it and selotaped it back together.
you might need a new adapter if the black plug wont go straight into the socket. only a few quid from car audio shops
