Hello all,
I am planning on changing my existing cassette player/tuner for a CD/tuner. At the moment I only have the front standard speakers as no rear speakers were fitted to my car.
Bearing in mind that I will be uprating the front speakers (with the help of the autoleads adaptor) and would like a 10" sub in the boot with an amp, what specification should I be looking at when choosing ahead unit? To be perfectly honest, I will be spending as little as possible and apart from probably additional speakers in the rear 1/4 panels, that will be as far as I will go.
Cheers,
Phil.

If your wanting a sub your gonna need to power it from a single chanel amp so your gonna need at least 1 pre-out on the stereo. Most newish stereos are 4 x 50W and so will power 4 speakers easily unless your after big power front speakers.
Cant beat www.cel-direct.com for stereos, ive had about 5 from there now.
