Got about £500 to £800 to spend!! Dont want to do an engine conversion tho.

o.k,then...every 1 will say a conversion..but you could chip,4-2-1,manztel style box,exhaust,cams, etc
but tbh you could get a x16xe for bout 200 quid straight swap n all..and better power gain straight up,,but those are the mods i would go with above

Cheers for that mate. Ive already got a magnex 6x4 and i got the middle box taken out and ive got a k&n induction kit. Any preference for the cams and prices for the other would be of a use.

if you only have 500-800 quid, get:
a new inlet: £200+
re-map: £400ish
4 branch: £180
then if you wanted to you could swap it all over in the future to a 1.6 lump.
oh, and you aint gonna get cams for that kind of money. you are looking at £350 for the cams and £150 for the verniers. and they dont make a huge difference on these engines unless you fit them with throttle bodies, pocketed pistons, aftermarket management etc...

I was thinking of getting me ecu remapped cause i hav heard it makes a good difference!! Defo a new inlet cause so many peeps have recommended them.
