Does anybody have an IP address for ebay. Its blocked at work, but I want to get on. Is there a way I can get on?

use a proxy server
find the IP
use babelfish webpage translator
ask IT why they blocked it

could normally just ping it but its a secure site so you cant.

Ping will still list the IP even if icmp is blocked at a firewall...

...or just use nslookup command then

Ebay won't work by using the IP address directly, so you'll need to find a proxy that isn't blocked by your IT department too.

i traced so it didnt , just pinged it and low and behold tis there never noticed that before

Trick i always used to use when ebay was blocked at work was just go to http://www.ebay.ca

You can still login using your uk id and it's never been blocked anywhere i've been

any surf system would catch it as soon as you try and log in
