Love that member name!
try the back of the magazine he'll get when he passes. its where i got my insurance from. dont just have him as a named driver on your insurance, get him to fit alarm and limit his milage too. it all helps.

brilliant name and wondered how long someone would ask that^^^^
easiest way to be honest would be to do a confused.com quote will give you a very good idea what he will expect to pay plus will give you lots to choose from also

Behave children
Try Bell direct, they gave me a good quote for mine, they specialise in people with 0 ncb.
Failing that, it's not the best way to do things but you could consider insuring the car in your name for a short while with him as a named driver. He won't build up any NCB obviously, but at least he may be gettin some experience on the roads. He can get his own insurance after that.
Also tell him to take Pass Plus, it can make a difference sometimes
Welcome to CS.

A good one which quite a few people have got low cost policies from is 'Quinn direct'. Give them a ring.

is he a student?
if so try endsleigh, as they do really good deals for students.
and remember most insurers give telephone staff a 10-15% discretionary discount. hagggle their price down. works for me everytime. never take their first quote as their best.

I didnt know it was a negotiable price. Will have to give it a go when my insurance is up.
