Could anyone tell me how I find out if I have service pack 1 installed please. Im sure I do but in system it doesnt say? The version number is 5.1.2600.

right click "my computer" and then properties. Is says your windows version on that screen. If you have sp1 it will say.
e.g. mine says
windows xp professional
version 2002
service pack 2

is it worth upgrading to sp2?. I was going to do it until it said I should back up everything which didnt give me much confidence in the online upgrade.
