Get a proper iPod. Nano's are cheap, but if you need lots of space the 30Gb video iPod is only £219...
All depends how much you want to pay, but considering a 2Gb iPod nano is only £130 you might as well stick with the best brand.
Much easier to get wired into your car too

But they spent all the money marketing the product rather than spending money developing a good product. I see that too much these days, people shouldn't support it because it's shit. I think either the creative of the Irivers are the best, I can't remember off my head. I have the new purple Sony, the battery life on it is fantastic, but not as good as the old one. What they should have done is use the new firmware on the old product because it would have rocked
Essay over.

It's quite heavy, thats the only problem I have with it... Though it does have a 20gb hard drive in it Some people think the firmware on it is a bit complicated, you have to get used to it. I would recomend it to others though

I have ipod mini holds 1000 songs and is really good for long car journeys or just listening to at work or whatever. More space so means you can have more variety of music.

I had an Archos AV440, which was good but fairly big and then it broke. They replaced it with an Archos AV740, which was shite as it was too big. That broke too. Got my money back and bought an IPod photo 60gb. Its so easy to use, and the fact that there's so much stuff for them is good too i.e. much easier to link up to your headunit. Got it for £266 delivered too.

i would assume that since ipods are now 5th gen there has been some product development. Apple have had more time for R&D than most others

Ed thats bullshit though, the iPod is the best, not because its apple blah blah but because it is the best quality, toughest, well priced and gnerally easier to use than the competition. i didnt buy mine to be a fashion accessory, i use mine every day at work, when im in the car, when im out running/cycling, and it has stood up to 2 years of abuse, still on original battery and still get 10hours life out of the bugger.
