Got it from a lad on seatcupra.net.
Fitted it normally, but I did read it's meant to sound better reversed. Not sure how though, its a recirc.

because they are fitted in reverse as standard if you know what i mean to reduce the noise
So fitting it the correct way (reverse from manufacturers way) increases the noise)
Have you noticed any difference with it - can't wait to fit mine

Seems to hold boost better when under load. Plus its more durable that the plastic bosch shit VAG supply as standard

yeah yours if fitted correctly. the valve should move up and down in the direction to the pipe not having boost pushing against it

I never said it won't work just not properly. reversing it means that the boost pushs agains the spring which means it will eventually will leak

Well Forge said it has no implications on wear just noise factor thats why OEM kit is fitted this way as they assume people don't like the noise

i had a look today for stuff reagrding the feed to the amp for the coil packs but havent got any info
the standard airbox, if anything like a golf, has a tiny outlet which cools the amp down somewhere in it

never heard of anything like that before re the coils, on any of the Cupra forums, although faulty coilpacks are a common problem. I've had my Dynatwist on for over a year now, no issues.
Running the DV the normal way or reversed doesn't really have any implications, it is supposed to make a chirp when it's reversed, but IMO the normal recirc noise is fair nicer.
The Golf engine covers don't fit by the way, people have tried, but it's different.
Nath, what's your username on SCN? Seems quite a few peeps off here have Ibiza Cupra's now, good choice!

like i say, from memory we've had 5 or 6 1.8t golfs in with the output stage amp problem
can't see the seat beeing wildly diffrent
as for the coil problem, all VAG seem to suffer as you proberly know

I haven't mate, never done it myself, but all you're doing is turning it around, so the side part of the DV goes to the inlet and the larger bottom bit goes to the little pipe connected to the top metal boost pipe.

i had a dynatwist and a forge recirv valve on mine and the noise was noticable.
still got the forge valve if intrested want £65 +post and packing, ive got the extra springs so you can adjust the valve, only had 4months use
Just bought one off Stuart off here unfortunatley
Forge on SAT at NEC wanted £90 and they went as low as £50 but already have one coming and was still cheaper lol
You are mad, 50 quid for brand new one is insanely cheap. id have bought it anyway and ebayed the one im selling you lol.

theres a output stage control (an amp) for the coils as such, they sit on a mount, and have a sepcial paste which cools it down
the only reason it gets cooled is because the airbox has a feed which cools it, when its removed alot of induction kits dont replace it, and the fry after a while
Yep, i had this problem, nice AA man gave me a new plate

Just above the viper, on the black housing you will see something strapped to it. This is where i moved the thing he is on about to. Where it is, not on a plate, it overheated and caused the coilpacks to cut out randomly.
