Everybody bad mouths BTBroadband, but personally I've had no problems, never expereienced any downtime and I always get top speeds and we're sharing it over 3 machines. I love it (or should I say loved as I don't have broadband now i've moved out yet )

i couldnt understand why people were bad mouthing it either. but recently, it takes forever to load up pages, i pay for 2.2meg broadband and im getting 56k its rediculous. after a while it satrts running quicker but if i want to do somethign on the net quickly, it cant be done, its bollocks.

Saying that, a guy here at work had similar problems. His would also randomly disconnect or not even work at peak times!
They told him it was because he was far away from the exhange. After a lot of moaning they came out and fiddled with his line and now he gets top speed.

If you moan and moan they will do something.
Have a look in your terms & conditions. When I had TalkTalk braodband (utter shit, had problems like you're having) I kept complaining and they kept telling me to GTF, so I looked in the T&C's and it said if problems aren't resolved within one month after the complaint has been made you can withdraw from the contract. So I wrote a letter after a month and told them I was withdrawing and they agreed, so I fucked them off and went with BT
