Some of you will know that when you fit a 6 cylinder engine into a 4 cylinder car, your rev counter goes to pot!

Any idea how i can sort this out? basically, my counter goes right round to about the equivalent of 9000rpm. But to work it out you have to halve it and then add half of that.

Any ideas?

cant you get a cav v6 rev counter transponder and modify that in some way?

only other way is seperate dials, with a switch on the rev counter for 6 cylinder cars
