Hey Martin, if you have enough spare time could you possibly provide a semi-detailed/detailed tutorial for how you created your awesome door pods/cards. Im sure there are a few people on here who like your idea and wouldnt mind having a go themselves, including me!
For those that don't know which door pods/cards Im talking about I have attached a pic below;

also gota be carefull that u put the speaker in the corect place so that u can close the door!
im making sum for a guy at the moment and there not easy and u need to apply loads of filler and sand it for ages to get the shape smooth!

C4 WLK- try keepin filler to a minimum. build the shape you want with fibre glass, to make it as strong as possible.
filler is nothing compared to fibre glass matting. both are composites, but fibre glass (obviously) uses mattiings of glass weaved strands, not stone dust and other rubbish.
filler was really only used in this project to level out the 'dips' in the fibre glass.

tis true.
sold my door cards for this very reason. even though these do look ''fooking awesome'', some SRi door cards with amp'd Diamond Hex components are far better IMO

seeing as u made yours for a corsa c, and i have a corsa b then the process will be much different.
so far.. i have made the door pod and fibreglassed the plastic card to the acutal door card. im wanting to make a sort of "surround" like what you have got on your door mould, what would be the best way to go about covering the material on the door card? just fibreglass over it and then filler?

i dont understand what your asking? when you say material, do u mean mean fabric or plastic?

well if you look at the corsa b door card the bottom half is plastic and the top half is fabric. im wanting to cover a portion of the fabric and was wanting to know what would be the most efective way of doing it? ta

I was taking a look in AdiSRI's garage at his door pods and that is the direction that I am wanting to take, but I will also want to cover the top half of the door cards (the fabric bit). that'll need to be covered in filler wont it?

if you are going to paint the door card, then try filler. i dont know what the material is like, how thick it is.
you could try coating the fabric in resign and hardener, that would make it go solid, withough have to worry about getting it level, and getting the filler to stick to the fabric
do u know what the square shap is for in adi's card? i cant work out what it could be? its a passenger too too, so it wont be and dials and stuff, its abgled down, so i cant see it being a TV..
yes vince. my ice has changed some what since that photo.
