so what if I always disagree.
driven one, been a passenger etc etc and like I said before just because it handles well does not make it a good car

vibrio is right, they handle great. miles better than corsa,
but they arent a good car... i wrote one off at 30mph ! someone pulled out of a junction and hit me....the thing just fell to pieces lol

if you had a crash on the front of the vehicle then any car will crumple up like paper, thats how they are designed, those pictures earlier in the thread where the saxo was rolled show that the structure is no less stronger than for example a corsa

Jr try one with a few mods
I would love to drive a 160 bhp 106 gti - my 140 bhp one is a good laugh, but the boys with cams etc get high 14's on the 1/4 mile.

same as a pug really, my mate had a nice 106.
he went round a mini roundabout and got hit by another car at slow speed, and his front end was right up by the windscreen.
wouldnt like to have a crash in one

My mates GTi with 160-170bhp was fast but I would rather have a Corsa as they feel much better built

both corsa and 106/vts are cheap, both have crap build quality, just the 106/vts is a lot faster and handles a lot better
you are comparing like with like, i would understand if you were saying a bmw has better build quality

had a VTS today to take for an MOT at work
is such a laugh, handles so so much better than a standard corsa, even mine possibly
just genrally driving feels alot more intresting than the corsa, and are so much better than i thought originally
doesnt feel as stable, corsa feels much more sure footed but saxo turns in so much better
would love the opertunity to drive one round a track

Next you'll be telling us that the Metro 1.4 automatic is the fastest car ever built, and that the fiat punto gt is an inspiring drive and a well put together and masculine car Jimbo
and next you'l be telling us that a corsa is not a shopping car for grannies
Aw, don't be mean Sam.

No the Corsa is definately better built than the Saxo or 106. Corsa might not have the build quality of the VAG cars but its a damn sight better than anything french I've ever been in

gti's are group 10 or 12 depending on the year.
