hey all little help needed
had lack of power at times when accelerating, had the air flow meter changed, its improved loads, slight lack of acceleration at times, does the air flow meter need time to calibrate?

and yes i know its only a 1.0 litre but thats not the problem!
any suggestions welcome

Reedy, depends, induction kits CAN damage an air flow meter, basically an air flow meter is a "hot wire flow meter" the air going past the wire changed the temperature of it, this changed the resistance hence changing the voltage signal sent to the ecu. When you fit an after market induction kit, some times they dont filter very well, this causes a deposit to be left on the hot wire, which in turn makes it oer heat often and burn out... OR// people over oil foam filters the oil them gets on the hot wire and causes it to over heat!
