yeah it is expensive but only cos Kingston Comms have the monopoly in Hull and unless you get a BT line put into your house....you can't use anyone else
However, i think the connection is great, i get downloads of 325kbs most of the time and best of all its uncapped and i get a static IP

Yes, although they can suck my dick when I sell it and get another Draytek. They tested ADSL2 with the Netgear? Can't have tested very much

i've always been with wanadoo, its meant to be limited but download over 1GB a day and heard nothing from them yet...
remember 2mb adsl will only connect at that if your line can handle it, so dont pay more for it or change because of it unless your 100% your line can take it...and its not your exchange its your line, as mine was meant to be 2mb (the exchange is) but aparantely the lines too long

I don't agree with that.
You need to be carefull who you go with and not pick solely on being cheapest but more doesn't mean better.
BT are quite expensive and have stupid caps like 1gig a month.

Im with Tiscali - 2mb "Unlimited" I say this in "" because its not true!!! I got a warning within my 1st month of being with them - for downloading 4.5 gb! Due to this, they have now restircted my useage at all times - Im lucky to run at 256kbps most the time which really gets on my tits! They have never given me decent service, and a lot of the time, the service isnt even available They're call centres have also been useless to me as they cannot grasp the principal of a wireless router - I kept getting told to unplug it and use their shite modem thing I'm not necessarily saying that they are like this Nationwide, but in my case, I really cannot recommend them! Im counting down the months till we're free! 9 months to go.....

Tiscali's "unlimited" broadband is complete bollocks. My mate has had his restricted at peak times (6pm til 11pm). Except it's not really a restrction, they just group all the heavy users together so he gets like 1kb/sec download speeds.
Nildram at home, top notch ISP.
Manchester Uni 10meg connection at Uni, absolutely amazing.

Yep this is exactly what I get, but the times don't seem to stay just at the "peak" times with me! Heavy use seems to be anything above about 1gig a month which is complete wank! Also, their Speed reader is complete crap - got told I was running at 4.3mbps the other day Good seeing as Im on a 2mb package (the max for my area) and I was downloading at the time - at 11kbps!
