Loads of car for the cash, thats the main reason I bought mine - a bit of a stepping stone after losing a fortune on my BMW.

Like i say, I loved it but it just tried to kill me too many times! Scary it was. Not only that, unless it was 25 degrees+ and dry as a bone, it was hard to get the power down!

yeah even the one with the open diff there was scary in the wet boosting 1st 2nd or 3rd was a nono really

the other one has a buggered clutch so if you try to go sideways you just get this strange smell and a reving engine

should be scary with a locked diff

depends on engine but I noticed a difference after about the second fill up

Depends if your car has a knock sensor - 5th gear did a test on it

On Standard 95 RON the subaru produced 235 BHP
On 97 it produced 247 BHP
On 98 RON iys produced 249 BHP

Torque was alot more though on 98 compared to 97

As Whitter says, if the car has the ability to advance the ignition then it will run more power. It will only advance it tho if it can do so safely and is experiencing no sort of knock via the knock sensor. The higher the RON rating of the fuel will allow this.
