im thinkin about buyin an inlet but was wondering if anyone has had problems with the ecu light coming on when adding performance parts . when i bought my bcm induction kit for my x16xe as soon as i put it on the light came on because of the air flow sensor . will i get the same problem , if so is there a way around it . any help is appreciated

thats odd, the x16xe doesnt have an airflow sensor
and an induction kit will not cause the em light to come on.

must have some sort of sensor for air for it to be getting a false reading even if it has got a dedicated air flow sensor

the x16xe uses a MAP sensor to measure manifold pressure. you probably knocked a wire loose or something.
to answer your question, you shouldnt have any probs with the dbilas inlet manifold, apart from sometimes they give egr fault codes, nothing to worry about though.
