my old corsa i used to polish and top coat polish every time it was washed and that was with a full respray aswell!
a polish and wax may last 6 months but it doesnt last to the same degree as when it was put 1st put on!
i can tell after just one wash that it has lost the look!

Thought you were gonna come out with some technical babble about how its better for paint to only do it once every 6months
An £11 bottle of autoglym deep shine/gloss whatever its called polish for dark cars has lasted me about 5/6 polishes now.
That would be Autoglymn Ultra Deep Shine, i recommend it have a look

polish is an abrasive much like a less harsh t cut
you should really wash your car dry it tcut it then wax it cause wax is a protective layer much like a laquer
then everytime you wash it dry it and wax it
every 2 to 3 months give it a good polish
won a couple of show and shines so itdoes work

Vectra de-locked door handles,
MDF stealth parcel shelf
Smallish neons to light up footwells
Black Hammerite for your drums and front calipers
Raid the scrappies to try and find newer bits of trim, I replaced all the boot trim and carpet coz mine were a bit scuffed, only cost me £10 from the scrappy.

I like the sound of some of that! Fancy ultra white LED's to light up the foot well (to match all the other LED bits I've used outside etc) I probably won't bother with stealth shelf as I don't want 6x9's - I've got 17cm Front Co-Axials and a Pair of 10cm Matching oneslined up for the rear, followed by a Active Sub when I can afford one
What was that about a Tigra scuttle panel btw? Is it a straight swap? Also considering obtaining lots of white and red LED's to put behind my MFD, clocks and all other light up bits to match my Headunit and get rid of standard Orange. This easy to do?!
