king beardy has fitted an x16xe into my car..
i will be taking out an insurance tommorow...
it is ok if i wait til i get the car back home and then send off the v5 declaring the engine..

lol its ok... but even if i sent the v5 tommorow it wouldn't get to the dvla until maybe monday.. so i cant see how it would make no differance

send it off recorded delivery, will find that its easier to go to the local dvla office, as you will need to pay extra for road tax. in fact i think you have to go to the dvla when changing up tax groups.

simple solution. dont declare it. nobodys going to come and check. balls to it. because chances are they'll jack the premium up

yes u will be ok it takes weeks to change a log book over through the post . as long as u send it monday u will be ok at the end of the day uve only just had the conversion done and as long as u can prove conversion has only just been done and its insured u wont get done for anything
its people that drive around for months and dont declare or insure it that can get done for it
