Anybody have any idea what the quickest way to removing the glue left behind by tints is?
I am selling my old car and putting it back to standard, so i have peeled off the tints easily but I can't remove the glue quickly at all.
Anybody know?

no, the inside, it was one of those DIY kits, which to be honest didn't look too good!
the instructions sadi to tint on the inside of the glass, to try to prevent scratches and the like of the tints.

Ok, I have removed the glue from the rear side windows using Autoglym Tar Remover and a wallpaper scraper. Did the job no problems.
But I need to do the rear windscreen tomorrow before I go back to Uni so my Dad can try to sell the car. Obviously I can't use the scraper on the rear window, so any ideas how to do that one?
Anyway, it took about 70 minutes to get the glue off each window, if anybody was wondering!

how about using a hair dryer to melt the glue??
Not sure if this would work but could be worth a try

no no. all you need is a sharp scraper spray the window with baby shampoo and water mixed together. get the window nice and wet. cover your door cards if you have speakers on etc. Then scrape it off. The blade has to be super sharp or you risk scratching the glass.
Dont waste money on and spirits of any kind.

i wouldnt use it on the rear screen. When peeling off the film you normally take strips off the heater. You just have to be careful and use a small scraper. The ones i use for this are about 3cm wide

yep, the sides are off, just the rear left.
I tried a hairdryer Planty, it just made it a bit more sticky, but didn't shift it at all!
