Have mentioned this on here before , have a 1 litre corsa (w reg)
It idles on first startup at 900rpm fine , however after 30 secs - 1 minute idle is up at 1800rpm and never comes back down
I thought it could be ICV but looking at it when it is running at 1800rpm the throttle body isnt even touching the ICV plunger , if I push (hard) back against the icv plunger the tickover is 900rpm . So obviously something else is causing the revs to be high ????
Any one had this

may not help much mate but mine was doing a similar thing however once it revved high it would then cut out found it to be my distributor. May help to check yours Im unsure though cant do any harm checking it over.

Can the engine run and start with various sensors disconnected ?? i.e. maff , egr , so I can try and see maybe which sensor is causing problems (if it is one) . There is no error indication (EML) just the idling problem

Can anyone tell me is the bottom right screw adjustable ??? (see pic) It is covered in yellow paint as if it is factory set and not to be adjusted
