yes, they are shite. they tend to 'wander' and not give a reliable fuel pressure.

use the adjustable 'nut' on the top. Loosen the securing nut, and turn the thread in/out. I doubt you really want to play with it

Even when you need one, they are useless. I would recomend a Webber FPR if you need to adjust your fuel pressure. If you are asking yourself why you need to adjust your fuel pressure then put the standard item back on as you don't need an adjustable one...

i don't think they even change fuel pressure that much
just increase the rate at which pressures increases
i could be wrong

theres a black top version that is much better, can be seen in demon tweaks motor sport direct catolouge(the red cover 1)
also would use a pressure gauge to set up and to keep an eye on. unless you got mods to increase air intake i.e turbo/ throtel bods i wouldnt bother

as Ed said, get a webber fixed rate one. Thats what i use as my fse one (all 3 of them ive had actually) are shite.
my Dad used a webber fixed rate regulator on an engine for 15 years and it never failed or wandered.

They do, but only if you set them up to do so. Most people who have them fit them onto standard engines which do not require a different fuel pressure. It's beyond me why people buy some things. I guess it's because we are in the Max Power era...

adjustable is good if any change is needed as if your buy a 4 bar regulator for instance and its a little rich/ lean then its easy adjustment to suit.

easier to just adjust the ecu map if the car is on mappable ecu. There are some decent adjustable ones out there but not the FSE ones.
