ok i have bonnet vent its f50 mk2 and was wandering with all this rain were having is this safe? as water is obviously going to go through to my engine i cover it up through night etc but need to know what to do with it as it is fully functional

it should be fine, just think about how much water gets in your engine bay through the scuttle panel and up from the road and wheels when its raining
