it could be ur engine mountings thats making the exhaust move too much.so check them 1st.get sum 1 to put it in 1st gear and bring the clutch up slowly and watch how much ur engine moves.mine is doing the same.i ahd the exhaust fixed once but its doing it again.

My exhaust squeaks at the join between the manifold and downpipe. I was told that there is a washer between the pipes that wears and causes the squeaking. Could b that ?
Move the exhaust and get someone to listen at this joint.

As above. On my c12nz, theres an O-ring gasket between manifold and downpipe, heat resistant fibre around metal wiry stuff - the fibre wears off as the exhaust moves, and the metal wires scrape against the manifold.
Just unbolt the connection, whack on a new gasket, and that should sort it. Took me ages to find out what was squeaking when mine did it, annoying as hell I know.

two 15mm bolts holding the exhaust front pipe to the manifold. just sling loads of wd40 on them first so you dont shear them. pull down exhaust and remove gasget ring, replace and put the bolts back in.

think ive got the same problem. Last couple of days the weather has been good so ive had the windows open. And when ever you change gear or go over bumps at slow speeds you get a squeaky jingly noise. is this what you were experiancing?

Glad it's sorted.
Also check rear engine mount, mine was worn, and the excessive movement was not only eating gaskets but it snapped my downpipe too.
