I got the engine into the corsa and the wiring done this weekend, and the rad mounted in the std bottom mounts with the top moved forwards. the hoses to the rad are fine. Ive got a magnex rip off of an sbd type c manifold and my radiator fan doesnt clear it. I could cut up the vaux fan and completely remove the mountings on the drivers side, but there has to be a better option. I thought of mounting it in front of the radiator with mounts to the carriage bar, but i prefer not to.

Does anyone know of any cars with slim rad fans, Im tolr renault 5 fans are quite compact.

i'd rather spend the cash when it comes to cooling personally, but 306's have their fans out front, maybe have a look at them

it doesnt help normal cooling, thats the point! it only helps when you are stuck in traffic, or leave it idling for forever! Ill quite happily run without initially and just keep an eye on the guage/run heating.

I just need something thats going to fit. The std one will mount up front, but Id prefer to mount it behind.

The entire project budget for the whole car is 600 quid so far and all I have left to get is wheels and tyres and this fan lol
