flocked dash thanks to Adam_D. will have a go at fitting this tomorrow.
i managed to strip most of the dash out tonight but got stuck with removing the dials as they look half electronic, half cable? there tigra dials. anyone have any idea?

will get some more progress pics up tomorrow with the dash out (jr style)

electronic dials just unclip and pull out. do they start at 10 or 0 mph?

feed some of the cable from the back from the bulhead side into the car,
then in the pedal area push it upwards
then the dials will pull forward some moreenuff to relase the tab on them and theyll be out

on my old 1.2 8v to remove the clocks i had to undo the other end from the gear box. but with the gsi i dont need to i can get my hand enough behind to unclip it. so you might be lucky

i can get me hand behind but im being a flid and cant get the cable off. will attempt it again in the morning when its light

its a flocked dash. its covered in the same stuff as rally cars dash boards as it stops the glare off the top of the dash onto the screen
