Would Windows 95 stop me from getting onto certain websites ?

Reason im saying this is im trying to get onto a site that used to be ok but for some reason I cant get on it yet other people can (and i also can at home on xp)

Any ideas ?

what version of IE?
Site might requite a plugin that isnt compatiabile (sp) with an old version of IE thats all i'm thinking. Flash or shockwave maybe
