what engines are available... what kind of power do they produce 
had some guy try racing me last night and i was all over the back of him with no room to overtake, he seemed rather confused/upset that a 13 year old vauxhall was all over him like a rash

The fastest new shape civic is a diesel.
New shape type R wont be out till later this year.

Diesels are the quickest atm until the Type-R comes out.

According to specs .. the diesel has the same bhp but more torque. Though under the 1.8 vtec .. it says Torque: 128lb/ft @ 43000rpm . Like the new shape except for the spoiler in the middle. Wish I had the money to buy the diesel .. nice bhp & torque with better mpg than the 1.8
