Well MTG fitted the new one the other day.

i did have a look at the old box. which had actually snapped a mount.
they said that the gearbox would have been rocking back and forth when driving which is what caused it to not select gears.

they didnt look on the inside of the gearbox but he asured me is would have been messy

the actual lugs on the box broke? Or the mount that is attached to the box?

A knackered F28 is still worth something to someone...should have kept it!
