all i was trying to say (however covoluted) was that the other type the one i have, betwwen the shock tops seems to do its job or rather a job to stiffen things up

used to have one on the rear which mounted to the ends of the shocks... definatly made alot of diffarence. yeah best way is to brace between the turrets,
