I have 2005, it's solid... the shooting is user controlled though, so when you shoot, you have to hold the direction you want the puck to go aswell. IE. up and left wud shoot towards top left corner of the goal.
Class game, quality soundtrack, as with all the NHL series

It's piss easy, although i was playing it on the easiest setting, was getting 10-0 wins.
Just dummy shoot, and pass, then first timer, score 5 a game doing that
