I've thought about a few things....
My car is parked in a residential parking area...but further along the block...so thought about asking the people who have the spaces directly outside my flat windows if I could switch with them for a while so at least its at my window
A proximity alarm...so that it goes off as soon as anyone comes near my car! But its not really practical since neighbours park in spaces right next to mine...it would be going off all the time....although you can get ones which have a timer or something so that they only go off if somone is next to your car for a while
The entrances to my block all have video cameras...I could park right outside the door and move the cameras onto my car and sit in the flat and watch it 24/7.....
I dont know what else I can do....I dont like the idea of having a car but not being able to park it at my home....It just seems pointless having it at all....

I reported it all to the police....but like I thought, there's not much they can do because its parked in a residential area with no cctv and since they've obviously used tools its unlikely that there will be any prints

asking to swap with space near your window is good idea, maybe get a bright light that comes on when someone comes near. But i guess its a busy place so may be pointless
proximinty alarm would be good if you could silence it but have it set off a light or warning inside your flat
paint around the car with glue, so people get stuck to it

Do you fit a steering lock when you park it up? It just might be enough to deter them from having a go.

I have thought that too...
So...
I'm gonna park it outside my window
With a proximity alarm
And a steering lock
With glue all round it
..and me in the boot with Adam's hockey stick
Think that'll be enough?

Do not fuck with another mans automobile, its agaisnt the rules, simple.
this makes my blood boill, its obviously some skinny chav runts tooled up with screwdrivers who dont know what the fuck they are doing by they are damaging your car with each lame arse attempt.
do you have friends or family close by where you can leave it for a while? And if they do get in as it got a proper decent immobiliser?

I can just imagine ojc running in the opposite direction
I now have a big metal steering wheel lock on
Looking into attachments for my alarm to see what else I can add onto it...
Its away into the garage at the weekend so not gonna be parked outside for almost a week
by the time I get it back I'll hopefully have something sorted out

logic dictates that they have made numerous attempts, thus it is reasonable to assume they will do so again.
Also reasonable to assume they will fail, again but cause more damage.
Get that gorgeous black beast the hell out of there!
Im crapping myself for when i move into city centre now, dont think my scoob will last 5 minutes fcuked up world that we have to think like this.
