Is £4995 cheap or expensive for a 2001 Astra Turbo Bertone (top on on this link above)
Based in Ireland, so havent a clue on your prices.

Its in Ireland though Patrick, cars are normally cheaper over there.
But a decent Coupe Turbo with decent mileage go for 8 or 9k

Cars are cheaper in ireland, a few mates have got massive discounts from buying cars over there.

maybe on povery spec. buy high spec cars are cheaper in the UK due to VRT (tax)
The goverment here charge taxon every extra and the bigger the engine. the higher the spec the more expensive it gets.
its very hard to find high spec cars over here for that reason.

They were Evo and Imprezas, apparently its because insurance is so expensive that they have to sell the cars for cheaper to compensate

they are most likely jap imports which can be gotten fairly cheap. very few of the older imprezas and evos where sold new here, most of them where imported from japan.

I know the Impreza was registered in N.Ireland, its a P1 so its pretty new, got it really cheap.
