Hey folks,

Having trouble with my 1.2 8v. The car misfires and sounds like it is running on three cylinders sometimes, usually if you put your foot to the floor.

So far have changed plugs, leads, DIS pack, injector and fuel filter but the problem still exists.

The engine management light does not come on .

anybody had any similar problems ? anybody any idea what could be the problem ?

Plug's gapped correctly? Could the plug's have got scratched/scraped when you put them in?

I doubt it because the problem existed before I changed the plugs . . . . . I'll check them but

Sorry but I've never heard of anyone have troubles with a c12nz before

Ah well...first for everythin

Good luck gettin it fixed, shouldn't be too much of a problem...

Mines is a x12sz , the newer one without the distributor . . . . and yes I am havin problems !

iv got exactly the same prob, my fix is to put a 14nv engine in saturday lol

i have the equivalent 1.4 engine, hate it! good luck in getting it fixed though, look for loose earth wires to the block etc, check the HT leads arnt earthing on the block somewhere maybe?
