Clio Willy

Looking on AT a no too shabby one can be had for £2k, look at the pic's & how dated it looks though...interior even more so!!

Think id rather spend £2k on a Saxo VTS or 106 gti if I had to have a hatch

I remember wanting a Williams when they came out

Now he's getting rid of the Williams and getting one! Lol!

Is there anything you haven't raced I'm sure I've said this to you before

No, it's just, when I know people who get new cars, they just want to see how it does etc.. just like anyone would!

not sure how people can say their 106 can beat a clio williams. unless ofcourse the 106's are modified. 150bhp williams Vs 120bhp 106 the clio would win. On the track i would def have my money on the clio again.

Been out in a friends Clio williams on the road and on the track, admitedl its had a few ££££ thrown at it but it is certainly a very able car.

Well, as people have said, they're now old cars and must of taken a thrashing all their life! But yeah, on paper also the 106 is just a bit quicker! Suppose its all down to the driver mate but theres not much in it

Edit: people under estimate the 106 gti till they've actually been in one

damn rite son

clio williams is renowned as the best hot hatch of its generation, by today's standards its not that quick though.

standard vs standard it has the edge on a 106gti the willy does 0-100 in 20 secs the gti does it in around 23 secs etc.

i had an old 1.8 16v it was tuned for 150bhp, was a VERY nice car, i went everywhere smiling, albeit skint though because they're not very reliable, especially now they're getting on a bit!! Through buying, repairing, and selling, i lost about £6k on mine

i hope the 182 doesn't turn out the same!
