see now thats a lotta work lol and im doing it for some1 else so would liked to sandblast it,,what it i use care and try masking it off

the grit gets inbeaded in the metal, and as fad found out this is not a goor thing

i bead blasted one n it was ruined. had it painted in metal flake too. was nto happy when engine builder told me he wasnt putting it newhere near the engine

what you want to do is get it blasted with crushed up wallnut shells. These use the same equipment as sandblasting but are no where near as abrasive and keep the smooth finish, just clean it up.
