My favourite racing driver of all time, i remember seeing it, i was at my aunty's house in wimbledon and gutted as i had to go to natural history museum that day and miss some of the GP.
Shocked me, it was such a tragic waste, should of stayed at mclaren bloody williams

I could have sworn that Roland Ratzenburger was killed in quallifying Brad.
Still got the Times somewhere with that terrible pic as the cover story.
Senna had it coming to him though.
Edit: I think you're probably right actually, been mulling it over, and I think it may have been in the Saturday Times.
Am gonna search for the paper now.

It wasn't realy down to the team Jambo.
It was caused by a combination of Imola being allowed to have a concrete wall with no run off area or crash protection at the end of a fast stretch, plus Senna genuinely believing he was invincible and had God as his co-pilot.

SVM - yeh i know about all the god on his side etc stuff he used to come out with but the guy was a genius. He was a clever driver that knew exactly what the car was doing and what needed doing next.
I remember reading from his old Formula Ford team boss when senna drove them from donnington home and he was going onto roundabouts flat and then when the car broke traction he would correct it.
The guy had balls of steel and if he was still around and had a family to think about then he would be the most succesful driver ever

I used to love Williams, but lost all respect, even for the team as a whole, when Frank Williams gave Damon Hill's job to Fox Mulder.
Lost interest in McLaren when they went from Red & white to silver.

i was mad when they changed sponsers too, mclarens are marlboro red and white
but i loved mikka hakkinen as he technically replaced senna and seemed to have a lot of spunk He eventually got there with the silver mclaren.
I also hate damon hill, he is most probably half the reason i hate williams

2 very good videos, part 2 shows a race with him and Alesi where he made an error and shows the other side of him!
Good watch
