Because next season you will realise quite how weak the Championship was this season.
Relegation looms next season
I had to endure the victory parade today, everybody out with there flags and shirts beeping horns, it made me angry and annoyed that for the first time in my 23 years of exsistance on this Earth, Reading FC are better than my beloved Ipswich Town FC

I'd say Sheff U will come straight down, not that much money plus they wouldn't want to spend it if they had it.
Reading I'm not so sure, I hear they are in debt, someone will put me right I'm sure, but they won't buy much I wouldn't think.

Reading are'nt in debt at all, but in the mindset of the fans they automatically think their going to do a Wigan or West Ham, now if they go into the Premiership thinking they will stay there no problem, then they will come straight back down again
(thats what I'm banking on anyway)

I was watching the Swansea v Southend game on tele and that Eastwood kid looks good, but what would he be like if he went up a level? Maybe going up a level would make someone perform better, I know in my own case I tend to play better against better teams.

Eastwood was let go by west ham, as he failed to make the grade
but that sometimes helps a player and they come back better and stronger, as has been proven many times

I fancy Reading to make it stick, Sheff utd could well do, but need all the promotion money spent very well indeed as they dont have many players that you could say will keep them up.
To go down next season :
Aston Villa
Sheff Utd
Fulham

Oh god, queue BigSte to come in here crying about how Sheff Utd are a good team and how Warnock is the best manager in the world.........
Reading will stay up, only because there are some really shit teams in the Premiership (Villa, Fulham, Pompey.....) and they'll spend a few quid. But Sheff Utd are coming straaaaaaaaaaaaaight back down.

cant see either fulham or villa going, fulham have the cash to strengthen, villa have quite a big squad and some very good youth team players who are ready to make step up.

if you took pompeys last 9 games, and spread that form over a season, theyd be in 4th place now. theyve had some hard games (there all hard) out that 9 aswell

They are still average and will still struggle next season.

more importantly than that, the championship is much more important
if wolves are bought by an oil tycoon, and we spend 20million.... everyone would still catch molineux knee and we wont go up

They have a good bunch of players now. Providing Harry can keep hold of them and sign reinforcements too, then there is no reason why we cant finish mid table. I think every pompey fan would agree.
Everyone has seen what we can do. 20 points from 27 or so isnt shy.
