if my computer has been on a while it seems to go rubbish, if i turn the comp off and on its fine again, anyone know why it does this and is there a quicker way of sorting it out that turning the comp off and on?

i think it is more with your pc itself
try cleaning some crap out of it....
too many processes working in the background
also defragment your harddisk for a start

I'd say it was your cache filling up, but if you re boot and it's fine could it be your ip provider? It's not just going slow at peak time's is it?!!

will just be processes taking up available ram etc - get yourself a decent regcleaner, uninstall stuff you dont need and defrag the pc about once a week/two weeks

its more the internet speeds though than anything else, don't have a problem with programs starting up etc.
Its not just at busy times as its often late at night etc, i keep my pc relatively tidy regarding processes etc but it is knocking on in regards to the spec.

call the isp and explain the problem.who knows, some other users too keep it late to download stuff....all my downloads are done overnight while i'm sleeping...LOL
anyway, quite strange though esp you sayis that after restarting it is ok for some time...
