whilst the cars been off the road i thought that i might aswell get some mod's out the way whilst i can.
been busy this week, spraying up interior parts, new gear knob, spraying outside door handles black to match more with paintwork, and de-badged and de-bump stripped it.
Pics -
INTERIOR
old boring parts came out
newly sprayed parts went in + new gear knob
(bit dark, will getbetter pics soon)
OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES
handles were sprayed by last owner but were flaked and faded, looked untidy so i re-sprayed them.
(will get better pics)
DE-BADGED AND DE-BUMP STRIPPED

and the current state of the car
its in garage next week hopefully.
what ya think?
dont know if i like the rub strips removed or not.
i am currently in the process of re-furbishing my own wheels black, should be finished by the end of next week.

each to their own, but I cant stand colour coded interior parts, esp in garish colours (silver is almost acceptable)
The de rub stripping always looks good. Handles look best colour coded.
What did you spray the rear lights with? they look very flat almost satin finish?
What happened to lead to the last pic

i just sprayed the rear lights with tinting spray i bought from motor world i think it was, they need laquer on i think to make them more shiny. i crashed the other week by not looking and went straight into the back of a new golf, the golf only had a few tiny scratches on it.

not a fan of spraying interior but thats me still looks like u did a good job. i think i perfere the red side strips brakes it up a little. what i would do is red calipers and drums, side strips back on and standard rear lights or mhw's. good work tho mate

cheers, there not the best of quality, its my first attempt, i made the mistake of not spending enough time sanding the filler before spraying and it showed up alot after spraying . atleast they look loads better than they did.
