Dumbass question time

i need to check the number of blades on my turbo. I can do this apparently by looking into the intake, but i have no clue where this is, where am sposed to be looking? i assume i have to remove some stuff to do this?

isnt your turbo hidden right down the back of the engine? I drove a Cupra today, dont think it was standard, it was fooking rapid!!

Turbo is a KO3 and has 8 blades.

you sure, i thought all non cupra R leons had K03S, although thats probably got the same number of blades.

Oops, KO3S has 8 blades KO3 has 12 blades.

i know its down the back, and apprently some of the early early leons cupras had the k03 turbo, just wanted to check thats all

If you are remapped to 230bhp you have a K03S.

To look you will need to remove the TIP, and either reduce your head by 75% to stick it down there and look in, or use a mirror to have a peek.

iv also read the codes on the turbo can indicate its type 53, 56 and 58 in the codes mean k03s or summit

Unsure on what the diff codes mean. But you do get different types of K03S.

Some have a silencer and some dont. Doesnt make a diff to the power they make though.
