Anyone on here know much about suspension?
Just want a 2nd opinion on the following...
At the moment I'm running AVO Coilovers with front and rear height ajustment:
Front is 250lb springs x 8"
Rear is 175lb x 9"
Polly bushes on the rear and at the moment standard bottom arms and topmounts on the front, will soon be alloy topmounts and uprated bottom ball joints (if i can find them as TAS are no longer trading!) I';ve got ajustable bottom arms to be fitted to ajust camber.
Also got
GSi front roll bar
GSi Rear roll bar
So anyway for track use:
Front: 750lb x 6"
Rear: 600lb x 8"
Alloy topmounts
Uprated bottom ball joints
ajustable bottom arms
GSi front roll bar
Uprated Rear roll bar
Anyone got good knowlege of track setups, are the spring rates I've chosen going to be too firm on a car that will be weighing minimal for a corsa? I'm looking to get the rear a bit firmer as I prefer a car that has a bit of oversteer rather than understeer.

Springs sound waaay too hard, the dampers WONT keep up with those rates for track. I'd use a 350lb max front spring for track. I found to introduce more oversteer you have to ditch the front ARB and get a mother of an ARB on the rear.
Also ensure you set front camber to 1 deg negative. After having TAS eccentric tops on the front for a few years and having tonnes of setups 1 deg neg camber IS the best I found.
No need to fit uprated bottom balljoints for track, they are only meant for rally where they will be abused and std's can break (ask Scriv off here).
Also think about playing around with rear camber setups (put washers behind stub axel) to introduce more controlled oversteer.
Just a few ideas?
